Tyler oversees all operations for the carpentry division of Christman Constructors, Inc. (CCI). He provides oversight and leadership of estimating, procurement, operations, scheduling, safety and budget. He works closely with CCI's general trades estimators and project managers to build a united team where each person's knowledge and experience is combined to support and improve the company's best practices in regards to procurement, scheduling, constructability, and problem solving. Tyler joined Christman in 2001 as a project engineer and was promoted to project manager in 2007, to senior project manager in 2012, and to director of carpentry services and the CCI board of directors in 2016. His experience in a wide range of markets, including high-end office buildings, higher education, sports and recreation, retail and hospitality, healthcare, and others, make him an asset to every project he leads. An active member in the community, Tyler serves on the Associated General Contractors Workforce Development and Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Training Committees, and is a member of the Michigan Historic Preservation Network and the Preservation Trades Network.
