Doug oversees all operations for Christman Constructors, Inc. (CCI). In this role, he provides leadership for all of the projects performed, as well as safety leadership in which CCI is acknowledged as one of the industry's leaders. Doug joined Christman in 2001 as a project manager, was promoted to Director of Concrete Operations in 2007 and to Vice President in 2009. Prior to joining Christman, Doug spent four years with the Army Corps of Engineers and was a commissioned officer. After serving with the U.S. Army, he worked for a national concrete construction services firm. Doug is a member of the American Society of Concrete Contractors Safety and Risk Management Council and is an Associate Member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Committee 207-Mass Concrete, as well as a voting board member of the ACI Committee 347-Formwork and ACI Committee 304-Mixing, Transporting and Placing. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Michigan and Virginia. He is also a member of the CCI board of directors.
