Press Releases:
Christman Constructors, Inc. Lands Lansing Wastewater Treatment Plant Project
Time to Flex those General Contracting Muscles
Work for the project involves the renovation of a tertiary building including filters and architectural details. Two clarifiers will be removed and one new clarifier will be erected in their place. Via these updates to the plant, carbon dioxide emissions are expected to be reduced along with the potential for sewage overflow into the Grand River.
Mike Kettlewell, President of Christman Constructors, Inc., had this to say, "Landing a ten million dollar project in our home town comes at a very strategic time and will boost our backlog considerably. This project will provide some much needed work for both our management and field staff in 2010 and 2011. It is a project with one of our long time customers and we look forward to another successful relationship building experience with the City of Lansing WWTP Group. Congratulations to Joe Leone, Lead Estimator for the project, and to Chuck Mabe, Chief Estimator, who, as always, knows how to analyze these WWTP pursuits. These guys know their sewage!"
